Throwaways [2020-2021] is a collection of tracks that were cut from my previous album, Heliocene, or repurposed from other projects that never came to fruition. The resulting album is a somewhat eclectic mix of genres, ranging from microhouse to ambient hip-hop instrumentation. In each of these tracks, I have tried to convey the feeling of certain memories that are dear to me using minimal, yet evocative production. In my opinion—though they are not as fully developed as those on Heliocene—the tracks in this compilation represent an interesting collection of ideas and directions that I have been exploring during the past couple years.

This album was recorded in Vancouver, Canada, between 2020 and 2021; mixes were finalized in Tokyo in late 2022. All tracks were produced and mixed by Paris Fleming.
